In Class: Start with the day's DO NOW in Google Classroom. Remember, these are worth Participation points. Did you watch the posted videos (in previous blog post) about selection tools and keyboard short cuts? Trust me, THEY ARE SUPER HELPFUL. I highly suggest spending the time to watch them. The internet is your friend and there are so many resources available online! I want you to explore Youtube and find a Photoshop tutorial that you found helpful. There is an assignment titled "Adobe Photoshop Video to Share" posted in Google Classroom. What's due TODAY?

I read a responded to yesterday's DO NOW's so check out the comments :) Today you will continue to experiment in Adobe Photoshop! Here are 3 videos to get started with that will give you a few more basic skills. Today I want you to continue to experiment and play in Adobe Photoshop. Utilize Youtube for video tutorials because there is SO MUCH to learn! There is more information available on the internet than I could ever teach you. Throughout your exploration and research of photoshop tutorials, I want you to find a video that you watched and found helpful. Copy the link and past it in Google Classroom. There is an assignment titled "Adobe Photoshop Video to Share." You will be putting all of these photoshop editing skills to good use with a collage assignment. Go to our google classroom account and answer the DO NOW. Do now's help me keep track of who is here and who is here ON TIME. Google Doodles are DUE this Friday. Submit them to the Google Classroom. There is an assignment titled "Google Doodles" For the hand-drawn google doodle, take a picture with your phone. Email the photo to yourself, or upload it to your google drive so that you can turn it into Google Classroom. Submit your written statements in a Google Doc to Google Classroom. In class today: Today we will learn some basic Adobe Photoshop techniques.

This week we will be going over what this class is about, policies and procedures, and getting to know each other a little bit. In class today: Today we will be going over the syllabus highlights. I decided to save paper and not print the entire syllabus. If you want to view and print the entire syllabus you can download it here.
Have a parent/guardian sign the syllabus, as well as YOU sign it and turn it in to me. You will get points for this! Signed syllabus due next Friday September 1st. Pay for your $40 class fee at the treasurer's office and bring me the receipt. The fee must be paid by end of September. If you feel that you do not want to remain in this class, please let me and your counselor know as soon as possible so that other students can enroll in the class.
